This is one of the earliest programmes of the organisation and the most cherished by members. It is an open space where members and researchers sit and read, write, hold personal and official meetings or just sit and chat. The space is also called The Den of Wisdom. Writing about it in the anthology; In Her Own Words, Beverley Nambozo says; “The Den of Wisdom has had bursts of inspiration, hours of perspiration, literary moodiness and near authorial-suicides but all not in vain…Every writer needs a room. FEMRITE has hers: The Den of Wisdom.” The centre houses over 10000 books (how to write books, novels, plays, anthologies, non-fiction, journals, etc); mainly donations from Book Aid International and from friends. Individuals and institutions can donate some books too and share the join of spreading knowledge!
