The organization has organized conferences as well. The main ones have been the FEMRITE@10years conference and the FEMRITE@20years conference. The next major conference is November 2023, held in partnership with Makerere University Literature Department and the Pan African Writers Association – Ghana and with support of different development partners; Ford Foundation, The Aga Khan Foundation and others.
