This is a monthly activity, which celebrates Ugandan authors and provides a platform for Non-Ugandan authors to share their work with Ugandan audiences. It happens every last Monday of the month at FEMRITE courtyard from 5.30 to 7.30. It is an open space for all interested. In case you are in Uganda and in Kampala, join us and meet like-minded people.
Over the years, FEMRITE has hosted over 20 writers and other literature personalities who include; Okot p Bitek, Mwalimu Austin Bukenya, Prof Taban lo Liyong, Atalla Rachel, Prof Timothy Wangusa, Doreen Baingana, Goretti Kyomuhendo, Rome Aboh, Dr. Danson Kahyana, Patience Nitumwesiga, Mugabi Byenkya, Billy Kahora, Sandra Thaxter, Ssejoba William, Sheila Ajok Lubangkene, Rachelle Atalla, and many others.
