FEMRITE carries out residential and non-residential writing workshops. Over 50 writing workshops have so far been organized and carried out with support of various development Partners. Out of these trainings, a number of works have been published by FEMRITE and other publishers. Some individuals have done self-publishing. The Novel Writing Mentoring Scheme carried out with some of Uganda’s most accomplished writers such as Julius Ocwinyo, Mwalimu Austin Bukenya, Glaydah Namukasa, Doreen Baingana, Violet Barungi and others, has been one of the highlights of the organisation.
